How can we achieve true freedom?

Freedom. This one word I believe is the ultimate objective of all human endeavors.

Freedom not only from an oppressive regime but also from everything that restricts us from expressing our true selves.

Physical freedom – Our ability to move from one location to another. This needs not just the absence of external boundaries but good health that allows us to travel comfortably.

Psychological freedom – Absence of fear, worries, and anxieties. When these negative emotions are gone, is when we are truly happy. Meditation is one way of achieving it but for practicing that also you need to free your time.

We all seek a state of happiness but we do not know how to truly achieve it. That’s why we all chase wealth because we believe it can set us free in a lot of aspects. It allows us to travel the world. It allows us to afford a healthy lifestyle & medical expenses for our physical well-being. Being wealthy reduces our anxiety about the future of our & our loved ones. Money allows us to stop worrying about basic stuff and divert our attention to higher purposes of life.

That’s why Financial Freedom is so important. Being financially free is not about leaving your current job or profession but it’s about reaching a stage in terms of wealth that you don’t need to work anymore for money. You can spend your time doing things you truly love and progress on intellectual, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Everyone strives for financial freedom but very few are successful. One needs to be disciplined, patient, frugal and focused to achieve the goals. Disciplined with the investment approach, patient with the outcome, frugal with spending & therefore saving more, and focused on achieving the objectives without getting distracted by our own emotions of greed & fear.

That’s why our motto at Truemind is “Assuring Financial Peacefulness” because we believe that financial peacefulness can help us achieve peace in all other aspects of life.
