The reasons we work for :)

6 months ago, I met a lady who came to me through a reference to discuss her finances. She is a single mom and had a lot of apprehensions about availing wealth management services and was anxious about her financial future.

She is a successful professional running her own setup, but the events in her life didn’t allow her the luxury of retiring early. She wanted to retire in 5 years, but after analysing her finances, we concluded that was not possible. We suggested an alternative way to take this forward.

Her business structure was such that one year can be very good and the next just covering costs. These uncertain savings amounts also needed special planning to reach investment goals.

After understanding her financial, professional, and psychological situation, we curated an experience that led to her getting comfortable with her investments and gaining confidence that she can take this journey successfully.

Last week, I received such a heartwarming message from her that made us feel highly satisfied with the work we are doing at Truemind Capital. I have always believed that wealth management is a noble task, as it has a significant impact on the lives of others.

Another day, one of my female clients told me, “Sumit, take care of yourself. Nothing should happen to you because my financial future is dependent on you.”

When I hear such statements, it feels so satisfying that no amount of money can match it. I thank God for getting me into a profession where we can help people get peace of mind regarding their finances and make a positive difference in their lives.

That’s the reason we work for, and that’s the reason it never feels like work, because we love doing this. To more such stories 🙂
